“One day, I’m going to whistle?”
The beaming smile on her face that constantly seeks approval, her little arm resting on his means she trusts him. She adores him and he gives her the encouragement she needs.
I don’t usually post things of this nature, but I was reminded of a boy and his parents I saw on the bus recently. Aged around two or three and it running dangerously close to suppertime his blank stare could quickly become tears. It didn’t take much before a few funny faces had him laughing and asking for more.
Every time the boy laughed and clapped his hands, his father would smile; he couldn’t take his eyes off his little boy. He was watching his son grow up and learn to interact right before his eyes, and he was in awe of the process.
Fathers who take the time to enjoy their children and their progress as they grow up are vital to a kids self esteem, and confidence.
I love you, Daddy. xo
