So, apparently it was stormy last night
Yowza.
So yesterday was date night, double date night to be precise.
A scheduled dinner and movie date was enhanced as rain, thunder and excessive lightning was added to the menu.
Seeing as how the storm started around 4pm, we were able to get a fantastic view of the lightning’s affect during midday lighting.
And then, as if that wasn’t cool enough, we got a double rainbow at sunset!!
And then, lighting and a rainbow?!
It was a pretty spectacular show, which was good for us since we decided to take a rain-check on the movie half as the storm wasn’t letting up. We did however continue have one more stop to make…
What?! Limited time offer on kijiji for a great price and I’m supposed to pass that up for 1/2 meter deep road flooding and storm surges making glass windows shake? Pfft.
In hindsight, oops. Maybe not such a great call.
But when you think about it: steak dinner, socializing, grade A storm and a Halo helmet? Awesome night : )
